EVN call for proposals

The 40m radiotelescope is part of the European VLBI Network (EVN) and takes part in three seasons per year, usually 21 days long each. The telescope also takes part in ten eVLBI sessions 30 hours long each and in Targets of Opportunity observations usually associated to transient events. All proposals in which the 40 m radiotelescope takes part as an element of the EVN are evaluated by the EVN programm committee.

The 40m radiotelescope can take part in EVN observations at the following observing frequencies: 2, 5, 6, 8, 22 and 43 GHz. The latter two frequencies can be observed simultaneously.

Here you can find the current EVN call for proposals.

Information on how to submit a proposal at the EVN can be found at https://www.evlbi.org/using-evn.

You can also ask for Out-of-session time if your project matches the requirements for a Target of Opportunity project.
